"We strive to make our studio a place where dancers and parents feel welcome while providing the best possible education to each of our students".

Why Choose Core Dynamics

If most dance studios seem to have great instructors who are experienced teaching children and have a recital at the end of the year, aren't they all created equal?  Does it really matter where you decide to enroll your child?

There are a few things that can make a significant difference in the quality of instruction your child receives, the amount of extra work and hassels you, the parent, must deal with, and the overall satisfaction of being involved in a dance program.

Here’s Why More Families Choose Our School Each Year For Lessons

The Core Dynamics Difference

  1. Class Size- We limit our class sizes to 8 in our preschool dance programs and no more than 13 in our one hour dance classes ages 5 and up. This ensures that your child is receiving the proper amount of attention in class and that technical mistakes are not being missed by the teacher which can quite often happen in larger class sizes.
  2. Payment Options- When you register for full year dance classes the fees are broken down for you into nine equal tuition payments.  You also have the choice to pay the full year tuition at time of registration.
  3. Desk Staff- We have desk staff available during class times to answer parents questions therefore allowing the instructors to focus on the dancing.  Parents can get answers to their questions without interrupting class or repeated trips down to the studio.
  4. No Fundraising- We do not require our parents to fundraise for studio events.
  5. Progress Reports-We give year end progress reports to our dancers. Teachers will let parents know how their child handled the work as well as any suggestions for the next years classes.
  6. Sprung Dance Floor- This is a specialized dance floor that has the ability to reduce the amount of strain and shock placed on a dancers joints, mainly ankles, knees, hips and lower back. This allows dancers to train for longer without getting tired or causing unnecessary strain which can lead to overuse injuries.
  7. Two Free Recital Tickets- Every family at our studio receives two free tickets to our year end recital.
  8. Great Location-We are located on Highway 17 south above the Southside Vet Clinic north of Tim Horton's and close to the Servus Sports Centre.
  9. Online Registration- We are now available to you 24/7! You can register for classes, send us your questions, see your child's attendance record or view the details of your account. Teacher's will send notes specific to your child through your account if necessary. We are going green, so all newsletters will be emailed home, no more lost notes in the bottom of your child's dance bag.
  10. Optional Participation- We offer our dancers the opportunity to participate in festivals, grade exams and competitions. These are opportunities that are available but are not mandatory!

Our “Floating” dance floor rests on a system of high density foam to absorb the shock and impact of regular dance movement. This benefits the students by reducing fatigue and preventing injury that can result from dancing on hard surfaces.

The top layer of our flooring surface is a professional vinyl composite “marley” floor similar to the surfaces used by the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, the Royal Academy of Dancing in London, England and shows such as Riverdance. This marley floor surface has a certain amount of controlled slip to allow for sliding in dance movement, but is not slippery like common tiles found in most other dance studios.
